Sangini Jo Sang Chale

SWA-NIRBHAR, as the name itself describes, is a part of Women Upliftment initiative, helping the poor women from the tribal, rural and urban areas in generating self-employment through our Vocational Training programs in Tailoring. Also, other trainings are imparted to women in creating various unique handicraft items, paper bags, decorated bottles, jewellery, etc. Post these trainings, Sangini Foundation, helps these women in selling those Products through Exhibitions-cum-Sales at various locations across the city with the proceeds going as earnings to these Trainees.

With Valuble CSR support coming from ONGC and L&T Gulf, we have been able to provide assistance to almost 100 poor women by imparting Vocational Trainings in Tailoring and providing 75 Sewing Machines to the very poorest of them, to start their own earning from the comfort of their homes.

Our approach and focus now opens to help and uplift more such poor women from the society, especially who are widows, divorcees or even the troubled ones from their family-in-laws.

We request and invite Corporate houses to extend noble gestures in helping such financial empowerment programs SWA-NIRBHAR in abundant.

The greatest gift is the potential to give to others.
